Testimonies from the Children’s Class
held in Devon, England

On the last day of the seminar I realized that I had been worrying for a while and wasn’t sure if it was all right or respectful to bother God with little petty teenage problems. I thought God had better things to do than listen to my little problems, while there were other people in the world who are starving and dying. So I just kept these things to myself. On that afternoon when Tim spoke in tongues and interpreted, the message meant so much to me because it started of with: “Dear children, I am always listening.” And then it just hit me, I realized that even when there are small, petty problems in my life God is always there, always listening and always watching over me. And that makes me feel safe and comforted.

In the Weapons of Our Warfare Class I learned about the gifts of the Spirit. It was brilliant. It helped me think more about God and Jesus Christ. Tim Sullivan told me how to speak in tongues.

Timothy Roberts, (Age 8) Swansea, Wales

The Weapons of Our Warfare class was cool because I learned about the Bible and God. We learned about the spiritual war and we learned about the spiritual weapons which are the gifts of the spirit. I liked answering the questions. It was fun playing with the other children.

Nathan Roberts, (Age 10) Swansea, Wales

I very much enjoyed the Weapons of Our Warfare class because some of the examples related to some of the situations myself, or my mates have came across at school. Also I thought the class was very easy to understand.

The Weapons of Our Warfare class taught me alot, especialy how realistic Tim made it and how he related the class to school. Now when I go to school, and I’m faced with problems with friends and teachers, I know how to handle them (pray). From this I have learned that you should P.U.S.H (pray until something happens).

Sarah-Louise Waterhouse, (Age 15) Southampton, England

thank u 4 teaching the class i had great fun i enjoyed myself a lot. u have inspired me 2 learn more. my favourite teaching was the tongues and interpretation. i think u taught that really well. every thing i learned was reinforced the second time around an i got a lot more from it. i would recommend all children 2 take this class as their hearts will grow bigger for god

Apollonia Charles, (Age 13) Greenford, England

The childrens class in Burstone 2004 was good and enjoyable, because we learnt a lot about God, it was simple and easy to understand. The teachings kept us interested because they were funny. It increased my confidence to speak in tongues both in public and privately. I find I speak in tongues more since the class and it keeps me calm. It helped us to learn the books of the bible, as we had to find them ourselves.

Darragh Lucas, (Age 14) South Harrow, England

I enjoyed the W.O.O.W class very much. It taught me many new things and extended my knowledge of things I had learnt before. I enjoyed every single part of it including the new songs we learnt. The class was easy to understand. It helped having a funny teacher like Tim. I took many things from the woow class for example I have learnt why it is important 2 speak in tongues and interpret, and why we do it. I also learnt where the books of the bible are, now I'm not the slowest in finding them. In between sessions was fun, we now know people better, lots of exciting and amazing thing I have found in the class.

And finally from two of the mums who also took part in the seminar (no ages provided!)

When Tim asked if the children would like to contribute their thoughts on the WOOW children’s class I was filled with apprehensive emotions, they can make or break you, in one sentence these kids. I was also interested to hear what they had to say, since I also sat in the class along with these gorgeous kids. I was expecting them to wax lyrical and be very profound, since I found the experience very profound myself, but they are just kids and I know for sure that they do not realize the greatness of what they have just experienced. That will come in time. I am myself just so grateful that they had this opportunity to hear and be exposed to, such simple logical truths, at such an early age. Everything they hear forms an impression on their young minds and I know that they will reap the benefits and bear the fruit of this time spent listening to the most valuable contribution we can give them, lessons in life, lessons in spiritual life. They are now aware of the truth, and I know it makes them more confident and stronger to deal with the challenges that this difficult life will throw at them.

Aine Lucas, South Harrow, England

I was thankful to be able to take this class as it was taught so simply even though I have taken the adult class. To sit and listen to the children’s class I then saw how I could teach sections of the class and share them with people who don’t have a Bible background was great. The class may have been directed at children but I as an adult I came away every session thinking that was great. Sometimes I don’t know how to teach some subjects but Tim gave examples from everyday life, and that was a thrill because you could see how it could be applied.
